Vibrato help for a frustrated would-be programmer.

Hi all
Forgive for being clearly too damn thick to work this out, but I'm really struggling with something that I presume is probably quite simple.
I'm trying to create a specific sound on a TR88 (polymoog vox Humana if you're interested) and I've got some basic instructions that I'm trying to follow from a guru kind of guy, but they're not Korg specific.
I want a pw on one oscillator and a saw on the other, and for them to be pitch modulated at different speeds. I understand the logic (I think), I've got the oscillators set up (starting from program D127 so it's pretty much a blank canvas) but I'm failing miserably with the modulation.
In my head, I just want to apply vibrato to each oscillator separately, and set the speed differently, but with the manual on my knee and the synth in front of me, I just can't work out which combination of settings will give me that effect.
If someone could point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate the help.
Mick.
