The compare button on previous Korg workstations act as a 1 step undo when you make a mistake recording in sequencer mode. Is there an equivalent to this on the Kross?

Yes, there is. Press the left-most of the 4 under-screen buttons, then cursor down to Compare, and hit the Enter button.
