Is it possible to save in each style on the songbook the current midi setup?

I want to uncheck (local on) on certain styles from songbook to play kontakt sound on right hand and not the two sounds

I never try it, but another option can be set track range keys.
I'm not sure if this effect midi out, I think gonna be same.
since you assign Upper1 to midi out channel all what you do wiil effect it.
Maybe only left solution is try use filter option, try something there.

or since you got PA3x, create dummy sound, sound without sound, save it, then assign this sound to style and even if you got local On korg not give any sound . because is empty sound

kinda crazy idea, but maybe solution for you

This may not suit you but I like to play my KRONOS sounds (e.g. as UPPER 1 in a style) and so I have created a "no-volume" SOUND which I called "Kronos no vol" - it operates like any other SOUND but the oscillator(s) levels are set to "0" so there is no local PA3X sound - of course this can be successfully saved as SONGBOOK, STS and/or PERFORMANCE.

If the Volume is set to 0 on an internal sound though, won't that still use up polyphony in the Korg? Or can you create a 'sound' that has no oscillators at all..?
Roland allow you 8 different MIDI 'Sets', which you can link to Performances. Perhaps it is worth encouraging Korg to try something similar, as one 'Global' MIDI setup sure seems a bit simple if one wants to use external MIDI and VSTi sources?

karmathanever already explain, you set oscillator level to "0"

But does setting the oscillator level to '0' actually cause the oscillator to not fire..? Just because it makes no sound doesn't necessarily mean it's using no polyphony...

that's one of the tricks to help people.
bottom line is create dummy sound, sound which is not hear from speakers, in theory yes, is something there, you not disable oscillator, still fire, but we here trying to find quick soluctions, not always perfect, whatever make work.
I believe
karmathanever knows what he doing posting this, and is make sense, at least for me.

There may be better ways of achieving this but this has worked for me for a long time - I have SOUND and a related PERFORMANCE for the "no-sound".
So you can call it up by just the SOUND or as a PERFORMANCE and hence save it as STS (and in SONGBOOK)
Provided CCs are enabled (send & receive) you can still operate volume control on the PA3X to control the external sound module/keyboard
Cheers
