Monotribe power-switch problem

Found this old forum topic on problems regarding the power-switch on the Monotribe.

I have the exact same problem on my new Monotribe that have update 2.0 pre-installed.
Worked fine for one hour then after turning it off it would not want to start again. Taking out one of the batteries and plugging it back in lets me start, but after turning it off I need to do the same thing again.
I also noticed that after turning off the synth there is still static sound coming from the headphone-output/speaker. This static goes away when taking out one of the battery.
other then this the synth seems to work as intended.
Any ideas guys? Anyone heard of any solutions?
