I was checking the Korg PA Manager program out, hoping that it would help you to construct new styles. No such luck though.

I think that software that could help you make new styles, something like a small sequencer specialised for this purpose, would be a desirable item for many PA-owners.

Is it even possible to write such a program the way Korg Personal Arrangers are constructed?

Korg PA Manager is what it's suppose to be ...a tool to manage Sets and Styles.

Style making software? You already have it! It's called a DAW. There's so many excellent options to choose from.

A DAW is no style making software. What I would like to see is software that would help me edit old styles and create new ones. I don't think the Korg interface is very good at this. The second best thing would be an official Korg video on this subject.

Theres no really easy, quick or semi automatic way to create/edit styles
probably the best way to start and learn is to export an existing style and change say the intros in a DAW and then import it back your keyboard and see how a style is structured

Exactly what I do very efficiently on my DAW (Sonar). The DAW allows me to work in the SMF domain where I can easily audit and edit the individual style elements. Once everthing is the way I want it I import the entire style into the Korg PA.

Is no shortcuts for making, converting or editing styles.
If you really care about working with styles, customize them, you need to learn a lot basic stuff, is not like many think, using software and do few mouse clicks.
As me, took me very long time to study structure of Korg Styles, how they communicate using midi data, what is requite, whats not.....etc.
Believe me, if you decide using DAW software.... without basic knowledge you will be lost in action.
One small mistake can cost entire style to corrupt, DAW not care what you put there, beside Arranger style is creating on only 1 chord (no progression), which is very tricky to write, unless you hook to MIDI out Arranger.
My suggestion, is many post already here, read them ask specify question, try to edit one by one elements, don't do major change, unless you positive.
BY question I meant Specify simple question, if you keep ask how make styles on DAW, you not going to get details on everything, in no simple answer on that.

How do I send an SMF from PA600 to my DAW.

You need export SMF, saved and then import to DAW.
in Pa600 if you holding Shift Button during export , korg export all elements in midi0 separate by markers.

Thanks for all the help. The reason I bought the PA600 is because my hand and finger dexterity is getting worse because of diabetes.

I want really simle styles, maybe just bass and drums, that i can import into Cubase, and build from there.

One advantage with Cubase is the Chorder effect that lets you program one finger chords. I wish the PA600 had this function. It's great for disabled musicians.
