So I need input on what to do. I've fooled around before and managed to get one or two patches working...but no rhyme or reason...just fiddling around.
If anyone can impart knowledge on how to proceed I'd appreciate it. I know the TR is old....but not to me....Thanks in advance. The patches were uploaded by "Eber Colli" if that helps.

Hiya, firstly you need to have sample memory installed to get all of the patches to load properly. I have an LE not a TR so mine keyboard is a bit older but hopefully the instructions are about the same
Press Media
Press Load
Navigate to the first one: MK1PURE2.KSC
Press Utility
Select Load Selected
A message Load MK1PURE2.PCG too will appear. Turn the selector dial to select yes (ticked)
Press OK
Progs and samples will now load. If you get a "memory overflow" message then you do not have enough or any sample memory installed and it wont work.
Now press Prog and select bank C and you will see the progs

Thanks for replying Mr. SteeVee! I appreciate it. However I'm not having a problem with downloading and opening the files. That's no problem at all. The problem is once I've gone through that process and scroll through the patches some play and some don't.
I assume it's due to the fact that my TR's system is different than your LE. The screen/menu isn't the same and the TR only loads one effect as oppsosed to it's sister/brother synths the Triton LE etc.
I have however since this post found out how to go in and activate the voice. I can't be sure it's accurate to the other Triton Series conversion of the file but it sounds damn good. I'm getting better at it
I go in under "Menu" to the program screen; Choose "Play" then change the default of the 2 Oscillator found there from "Ram" to "Rom" or "EX".
That opens the sound source and from there it's time to experiment! Love it! I'm finally beginning to understand all my synths which are the TR88, EX5 and SY99. I've got Heaven right here on Earth!
Thanks again SteeVee. By the way...my name is Stephen too but the only one that calls me Stevie is my oldest Sis and close family members....lol!

Thats good news Steve. The TR superceeded the LE (I believe) so you have a more up to date synth (so to speak). I do not have any sample memory installed so you are going to depths that I have not tried. Enjoy it will be a pleasurable journey
ROM will use the multisamples built into the keyboard. RAM will use multisamples that you have loaded or created, EX. not sure I dont have this option. I assume it means load from an external device, USB maybe? (Again LE does not have USB)
Have Fun
