So I am kinda wondering.... How do most of you position the Kronos for playing? I am wondering if some tip it towards themselves as I have seen this in a few photos of the keyboard and I assume this is to make the screen more directly viewable. And if so, what height is most effective to both provide good stretch (octaves) and minimize carpal stress/damage?

Or do you just wail away and never even think about it????

I tip my Kronos towards me so I can spend longer times working with the screen.

FWIW, I have 3.5 tiers of keyboard for my home setup. The Kronos is on the middle row, with plenty of room to get to the screen. With the angle, it's comfortable for hours of playing when sitting. When standing, it's a little low but manageable.

When I bring it to practice, I have a spare X stand that I prop it on, no angle.

I have mine flat on the lowest tier of 3 for playing while I'm sitting at home but the screen position is not good. For live I play standing up and usually the K is the only keyboard in my rig.

2x4 across the back adds a nice 1.5" inch lift.

All my keyboards are hung from slatwall with adjustable hangers, my Kronos is on a 30 degree tilt... perfect.

I've got the 61 version. I use two keyboards when playing live: a stage piano on the lower tier and the Kronos on the upper tier. The upper tier is angled down which makes the screen quite readable although optimally it could do with being slightly more angled. I see that the screen on the new Kornos seems to be slightly more angled so that would probably do it.
Having the Kronos on the top tier is useful because it makes all the controls easily accessible. I've got the lower keyboard MIDIed up to the Kronos so I can use the piano sounds from the Kronos while while playing the weighted keys on the stage piano.

Mine's an 88, so it's on the bottom of a stack of three. That's where any 88-note needs to be for me, so screen angle be damned.

At home my Kronos is on top of my M50 and the Kronos is angled quite a bit, since I mostly sit and do some programming/setting up patches.

At gigs or in the rehearsal room my Kronos is on top of my Extreme and angled much less, since while standing up I can see it clearly anyway.

However, in both situations it is on top, since the I like to have keyboards very close to each other and otherwise the top keyboard would block the Kronos's big display.

I tilt the KRONOS slighly towards myself. The back side is lifted about 8cm with respect to the front.

I use an 88key live and I use a Z stand on it's max height setting (I'm 6' 2") with no tilt. I don't have a problem seeing the screen. If I need to adjust a combi or something on the fly I might lean over a little bit, but it doesn't bother me.
