Oops, I threw it away!

Ok. Yes I know I shouldn't have done it but I did. I mean really. Who kept those cardboard pieces anyway? Does everybody in the whole world except me hold onto the packaging for ever? How was I to know that one day I would have a need for the cardboard keyboard holders?
Like really.

Anyway, I threw mine out and now since I am planning on opening up my baby I apparently need them to keep my keyboard aligned.

Can anyone gave me the exact dimensions of them so I can make a set myself? Please?

Thank you very much.

The spacers that came with my 88 are 60mm x 130mm x 0.9mm thick

tsk, tsk. EVERYone keeps those. now look at the fine mess you are in :)

find some cardboard. cut out a 1" x 3" piece . see if that wedges between the keybed and the metal frame. if it does, create 4 or 5 more to insert .

i use a little tape to keep them in place.

Thank you both very very much. My problem is that I live in a shoebox and so if I kept everything there would be no room for me, my wife, 2 cats, 1 old Hammond, my fat belly, a lot of keyboards and guitars, and, well, you get the idea. I live in Canada and it's such a tiny little country that there simply isn't any room for any extraneous pieces of cardboard that you might never ever use again. I would just quite possibly have to get rid of my collection of fine single malt whiskys from Scotland.

Oh, and my wife made me do it!

the way it works in my country/state, is that when the cats are let out, they catch the rats and deliver them to our door step :)

Up here in the Great White North, the rats are HUGE and have big flat leathery tails that help them paddle through the water in the rivers, lakes and ponds. With great gnashing teeth!

thats good ! you don't need a car then. Just climb on the back of a big fat rat. Bring cheese and tell them where the keyboard store is

I gig with my 88 twice a week and haven't had the spacers in it in more than 2.5 years. No problems here. Although one time earlier this year, I did loosen and readjust the keybed screws after a bad bump of the case. Other than that, my keybed has played beautifully.
