No signal coming out of microStation

For some reason I cannot get a digital signal to come out of either the headphone jack or the 1/4 inch outputs.
All the lights are on, the volume is up.
I've tried Programs and Combi and nothing.
I must admit that I was playing around with many of the features in an attempt to integrate it into my home studio and it disappeared all of a sudden. I think I may have erased all its patches by accident though I don't recall doing anything that sounded dangerous.
Any help appreciated.
