Wow! Just watched Dave's video. Amazing!
This is it it for me...I am definitely getting one of these.
I played a Prophet 10 & Prophet 5 back in the day but they belonged to the drummer. Long Story...Love the way the Prophet 6 sounds!
Bravo Mr Smith !!!

I find it amazing that people are lusting over old limited designs like this and the odyssey when you could be playing with a prophet 12!

+1
I completely had lost hope in seeing a truly analog Polysynth in a modern design again, with patch memory, classy pitchbend/mod-wheels and full effect chain.

As soon as this thing is out, my Kingkorg will be on Ebay. And the Korg Odyssey with the rotten old pitch/mod design, no patch memory, funny minikeys, and zero inbuild effects will not even touch my interest horizon, after Korg has spoilt the "intelligent rebuilding" task.

Even if this thing is expensive, it's the only thing I would like to see on top of my Kronos at the moment! Really overwhelmed!

This thing will become an instant selling hit, no matter if it is expensive. Even in the short demo it sounds SO MUCH better for analog lovers than all the digital oscillator Prophets, Jupiter 80s, Arturia Origins, Kingkorgs and other polyphonic VAs of the last years, that it's really fun to watch (it's a beauty) and listen.

Now this, I like a lot. I do have a Prophet 08, but this is even better to my ears. I like just about everything about it - there's a good balance between analog and digital features, sounds really good, interface looks inviting. Dave Smith's synths make me want to turn knobs. :-)

On the German Amazona site they say it be be available at 2800$.

As Mario Draghi and some other competely incompetent European politicians (especially fróm southern Europe) have just decided to fight debts with another multitude of debts (what an utterly idiotic American economic non-concept!) and trash the Euro completely, I can only hope that the synth appears soon, before it will cost more than 3500€ here in Germany.

Amazona reports that the Prophet 6 comes with 500 Factory presets and 500 more presets available for users. It's the absolute "no worries" subtractive poylsynth design, it seems: you can recall your presets and still have hands on control to influence everything directly, in real time. with this rich and intuitive interface.

People have to really stop making such amazing synthes as this. How do I explain to my wife that I need one? She says I already have too many!
