Volca Sample Stereo Samples?

Hello I apologize for what is probably a stupid question but can the Volca Sample accept stereo samples? If so does using stereo samples reduce the 65 seconds of sample time in half?

Thanks!

I want to say yes actually... I could be wrong, but I just got the Volca Sample and the first thing I did was erase all the internal samples and load up my own; many of which were stereo samples and the stereo imaging seems to be retained. I'll do another test with more extreme stereo panning within the samples themselves, but in the mean time, here is a video demo of my first couple of original kits - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S5xFOi_Q7kc

Well, if you used my editor (CEVS) they're definitely mono as I convert before uploading.

The SDK docs that the device expects mono samples. This is what KORG tells us:

"Only 16bit monaural audio samples are supported, so convert as necessary beforehand."

If you want to do a real test, record the output and look at the waveforms. (of course make sure the samples aren't panned)

Ahh, I did use your editor. I thought I saw a button in it that was labeled "To Mono" or something like that, and I assumed not using that would leave the samples in Stereo. In any case, it still sounds good to me! And I like the editing options in your editor... so great work! :D
