Greetings,

I have a Kronos 88 and a kronos 61. I would like to be able to push the footswitch and change to the next set in the set list simultaneously for both keyboards...without my bottom Kronos 88 triggering the sounds of my upper kronos 61. I want to use the Kronos 61 sounds independently. I do not want the Kronos 88 playing the kronos 61 sounds in addition to its own.

Currently
-I have a usb out the Kronos 88 to the usb A in the Kronos 61.
-the footswitch is connected to the Kronos 88 and is set to move Program Up (in global) when pressed.
-it does change the sets for both keyboards when pressed. So I know the connection is established.

**Problem**
The Kronos 88 is not only triggering the set list change with the footswitch but it's also triggering the sounds of the Kronos 61. I only want Kronos 88 sounds coming from the kronos 88. I only want Kronos 61 sounds coming from the kronos 61.

if I were doing it, I would pick one kronos to be the "master," probably the top one because the display is easier to see. The footswitch will be plugged into there. That Kronos would run in setlist mode, with each item pointing to a combi. Within that combi, you would have a channel (say, 16) that would correspond to the global channel that the bottom kronos is listening on. Leave the bottom Kronos in program mode (or combi if you need to do splits/layers) and use Timbre 16 in the top Combi to send program change information to the bottom one. The trick is that you have to put in the effort on both boards to keep everything in one mode (i.e. making combis out of your programs). It makes it SOO much easier when you're doing program changes in a live situation. This scenario also gives you the advantage that you only need to arrange the setlist on the top Kronos.

Leaving the global channels different on each Kronos is how you avoid accidentally changing programs on the wrong board. I don't have 2 Kronos' in my rig, but this is exactly how I have been doing multi keyboard master setups for years.
