Plug-in editor in SONAR

Hi.

I'm experiencing several problems with the plug-in editor in SONAR X3. I'm only interested in SEQ mode, so all of the problems I'm about to explain occur in SEQ mode.

1) If I open an existing MIDI and try to play it with the Krome sounds via the Plug-in editor, the moment I click "Play", all the instruments I had set up in the plug-in are changed to totally random stuff. I checked if there's a patch change event in the Event View, I changed the Bank/Channel/Patch from the track properties, and nothing seemed to help. It just doesn't work.
2) This is the most important issue. When I open up SONAR, I can play and record with the Krome as MIDI input just fine. Then I load the Plugin Editor VST, and as long as I don't load any preset, the MIDI input still works. But the moment I load a preset, either by loading a previously saved preset from the plug-in itself or by using "Load Template Song" from the Krome touch screen, the MIDI input breaks, and the only way to make it work again is by turning off the Krome and turning it on again. Still, even if I save the MIDI with the plug-in editor correctly set up, turn off the Krome, close SONAR, turn on the Krome and start SONAR again, the moment I load the MIDI, the input stops working. It's as if something used in the templates breaks the MIDI communication. I don't know if it's some IFX, the MFX, the TFX or some other stuff, but I can't work with the keyboard until the problem is solved.

I'm not asking much, I just want to do some basic stuff that the keyboard is supposed to do: set up some instruments and effects, record MIDI using the Krome, then play it back. It's not rocket science, you know.
