I have some Favorites set up to play a song loaded from the DATA folder of an SD card along with a piano sound on the Kross.
Is there any way to set the Modulation Wheel so it controls the volume of the imported audio track, but not the piano?
I use tracks on stage, and balancing them with the internal piano sound in a concert setting would be a lot easier if I could simply move the mod wheel rather than paging into a menu.
Can The Modulation Wheel Control Track Level

I don't think what you are proposing is possible. However, your question suggests that the volume of the backing tracks is uneven and that they have not been normalised - ie the different tracks are not even in volume levels.
When the professionals master audio they "normalise" it. In other words, they set the tracks to all peak at 0db, so that when they are played on the radio or on your hi-fi, they don't suddenly massively change in volume.
Load your tracks into Audacity (or a similar WAV file editor) and "normalise them". Then load the tracks back into your Kross and that way they should all be at the same level and all you have to do is worry about controlling the volume of the Kross.
