Rising Synth in Uptown Funk

Hello everyone,

Can anyone help me in creating that rising synth sound in "Uptown Funk" where all I need to do is hold down one key to cover the entire rise.

I've come pretty close by tweaking some values but the rise in the recording is a full 3 octaves and I can only seem to get it to play 2 octaves.

I'm not real famliar with many of the parameters so keeping your response in laymans terms would mean a lot
