Midi Issues between Oasys and IPad

I was not sure where to put this, so I have put it here.

I have just purchased iM1 on the iPad. I have also purchased the Apple camera connector and a MIDI - USB converter to connect my Oasys to my iPad to use it as a MIDI keyboard.

The problem I have is that when I am using the pedal for sustain and it is generating sounds. In fact anything that I use such as pads, xy joystick etc all generates sounds on the iM1.

I have tried all the settings in the global menus on the Oasys but I cannot get it to stop generating the sounds.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have the same problem.

I am using iM1, Apple CCK + MIDI x USB converter to connect a Kurzweil SP4 to iPad.

Any suggestions?

To be honest, I gave up in the end. I spoke to Korg Support about it and they just said it was the MIDI/USB cable.

I just bought a cheap controller keyboard and all is fine now even using the same cable.
