New M3: How to save .PCG data Via USB connect to Mac...

I've put in hours of editing already on my new M3, and want to back it up as soon as possible. I dl'ed and installed Korg's M3 Editor on my 2012 MBpro, launched the program and connected via USB cable. I think it's seeing the keyboard, because when I plug in USB cable to the computer is says MIDI device changed.
I want to backup all .PCG data regularly to my Macbook. Is this the program I use to do that? Please explain how. Thanks so much for any replies.

Probably the easiest way is to put a SD card (I think) and save the content of the M3 as PCG file, than insert the card in your computer and save it.

The M3's SD card is internal only. Use a USB stick or external USB hard drive. You could also use the editor but I think it's faster and easier just to make the backup directly from the M3.

Thank you guys, really appreciate the response. I bought a USB stick and backed up .PCG data, then transferred to my Macbook no problem. I'm just wondering, is there a way to transfer PCG directly with the patch editor via USB connection to your computer? Thanks again.

Yes, you can do it all using the editor. Use the Utility commands. First use the Receive All command to transmit all data from the M3 into the editor. Then use the Save command to save it to disk.
The Load and Transmit commands are used to go back from the editor to the M3.
