Should be easy to do with the onboard audio recorder:

1. Record your song.
2. Insert a formatted SD card.
3. Hit audio record setup.
4. Set the record mode to off.
5. Hit record
6. Hit audio play.
7. Hit sequencer play.
8. Wait until song is finished.
9. Stop audio recording.
10. Hit function.
11. Hit export.
12. Name the file.
13. Wait until progressbar hits 100%.
14. Pop over the SD card in your computer.
15. Copy the WAV file.
16. Launch your DAW.
17. Export to what ever format you wish.

No problemo. If you have a soundcard, and connected your Kross to it, then you can just simply play back the song, and record it in your DAW. Saves a lot of steps.

ugh - that's "easy?" Seems rather unwieldy and user-unfriendly to me, tbh.

I wish I could get a job as a UI designer for these things. :)

That's exactly the same steps as in any system (software or not), the same in a computer:
- launch the record in synchro mode
- launch the play
- save the file
- put the file in an external storage for data exchange

Do you search for a neuronal approach of user interface ?
The list is only very detailed here...
