Korg Kaossilator 2 doesn't work after firmware upgrade

Hello
My Korg Kaossilator 2 doesn't work after firmware upgrade
I updated it from
http://www.korg.com/us/support/download ... /130/1459/ and after this it's turned off... And now I cannot turn it on!
What can I do now? I press the Power button, but nothing happens.

Thank you for your advise, but it didn't help (
The "I" button turned to red only but Kaossilator still doesn't work

Do you use new full battery or ac adapter? when updating? was there any message of that update went OK?

Remove battery/powerplug and remove SD card, then HOLD POWER ON button at least 60 secs to remove any voltages residue inside.

Put battery/ac powerplug in without SD card and power on, if still not working then do following button resets as described in those threads.
Remove battery/powerplug and
HOLD ALL the described (fnc) Buttons + Power ON down AND then put battery/powerplug IN with still holding buttons for at least 60secs or wait till there is reaction from the machine!
I bought a Second Hand One ( Model=KO2 Serial=003445 N222 Shipped w/ 1GB SdCard ) and noticed it does not switch on, but I discovered a way to power it , remove BatterY Unplug Power SupplY , Press “fnc” key , Press ON/OFF , Plug P SupplY , Right Led will blink and device BooT !

Does anyone know if Kaossilator 2 has any kind of hard reset to factory defaults? I just bought one and it does not power up! Just power led remains on, nothing more works. If no, returning to reseler. frown emoticon

Dave Razr hi! i've got the same problem! try to hold fnc button with power button. it helped me, but only one time. if you'll find new ways to repair this problem, please, inform me.

I tried 1st method (power+mic+I) on another my kaoss & it was suscessfully updated... this one is still doesn't work

You sure did these important steps with:
1) Remove full batteries/Unplug Powercable first!
2) HOLD the buttons combination and then.
3) Put full batteries/Plug Powercable IN to power the machine while still HOLDING the buttons combination for 60secs or wait till machine reacts/boots.

If all these doesn't help then the Firmware update was corrupted and damage the booting/machine.
Did you wait till the screen says "Software Update Finished":

Send to KORG Service Repair and say machine is damage with the Update!

1) Yes, I did these steps
2) Yes, like on working synht (Kaoss 2, not Kaossilator 2, but I updated firmware for this model too) was "Software Update Finished" screen. I clicked OK and it is all..

Hi all!
I don't know what happened but now my synth works!
I tried switch it on and it works! But after off I have to wait ~60 sec - another way I can't turn it on again. fter one min it turning on normally.
Yay!
