Two EMX-1?
Last Friday I was invited to play with my emx-1. It was great and I think I have just found an amazing instrument (i've never made electronic music before). I will upload a video soon, though you can't see anything you can hear the music.
I'm planning to buy an ESX-1 and selling my kp3+, but I had this crazy idea about using two emx-1. Has anyone try it before? Does it work?
As always, thanks people for ur answers, I have solved many doubts in this forum and had helped me to learn many things for using my emx.
Greetings,
Francisco.

I often double up on my favourite bits of kit.Especially if you want a spare/replacement and also desire more of the same.
Having said that I would go for the ESX first as they are designed to compliment and the ESX is a design classic- if you have the chance -go for it.
The biggest benefits of having two the same is more memory to store experiment any ideas/sounds/beats ,plus one can be on the move and the other set up at home.Or two together can be fun firing midi patterns from one to the other or just having more knobs.Plus if one brakes..
This is a personally opinion and may no be for everyone ,but if you have the readies and you like it ,then why not.
You may find the ESX more useful to have two of though when you get into it ,more memory seems more useful for things that store samples.

to copy a whole pattern just hit write once, change the pattern location with the main dile, and write again to save in the new location.
Two EMX and a DJ mixer and you can mix tracks DJ Style which could be great fun. however with an ESX you can Add your own samples but it's not the best for synth parts, but maybe you could sample some of you synth parts from the EMX?

I didn't know that and with that you have solved one of my biggest problems with the EMX!!!! I'm free now... FREEEDOOOOM!
Thanks a lot, really.
Why not add the Electribe 2 to your setup, you would have more polyphony to work with, different oscillators & 16 parts to use how you wish, the EMX-1 could be used for the drums/bass.
I ain't used my ESX-1 too much since I bought it, but that's how i'm thinking of using it with my Electribe 2 in the future.

EMX-1, Electribe 2, Electribe Sampler, Korg iOS
