The 2.0.5 update file should have everything you need for a full upgrade to the expanded version. Unzip it and follow the instructions.

Problem is that the 2.0.5 does not contains the samples of the 2.0 version
it's about 5 megs
the 2.0 expanded version is suppose to be about 400 megs ?????

p.s. I have 1.2 version on my M3

I have downloaded a 404 megs folder from a japan site (M3XP_V200_Ji)
but all information are in Japanese all other files seems ok but I don't
want to mess up things files are EXPCM01.KEP/EXPCM02.KEP/EXPCM03.KEP
M3SYS/M3XPSYS the rest are notes and pdf in Japanese.
Is that the 2.0 Expanded upgrade?

My mistake ... You do need the 2.0.0 file first. Try this link and look near the end of the Operating System section...

m3m 1xx to 2xx expanded update..
wow I should to have shot an you tube of it.
that is an easy update!!
I started with 1.0? and now have the latest with radias, sd card update, 256 memory. and have it all on the sd for fast start.
easy easy easy!!
ty all for the help!!
I wish korg had more memory on board on these units...
if it was made right they could have several gb of flash... and make these so layers on layers of sounds could be done on first pass in the studio...

these are pretty cool for sure.
