Supporting the new Kronos 73 key on a Quicklok Z/716L

Hi everyone

Looking forward to receiving a new Kronos 73 key soon to replace my Motif XF7. As the weight of the Kronos is over 21 kg, I am a bit worried about how it will be supported on my Quicklok Z stand given that the width isn't adjustable. The stand support arms are about 103 cm apart between the insides and 109cm between the outsides. The Kronos is 122cm according to the specs so it will be supported close to the ends (about 5cm from each end?). I'm just a bit worried that the weight of the Kronos could cause it to bow in the middle, or am I worrying unncessarily? I didn't have any issues with the Motif but that was a bit lighter at 17kg and 125cm long. Does anyone have any experience with this stand and the 73 key Kronos? The stand is this one....

Thanks in advance

I have that stand with my 88, it has been sitting on it for over 3 years with no problem.

Thanks Bob, sounds like it should be ok then. From what I've seen of photos from the original Kronos opened up there appears to be a substantial steel strut supporting the case inside so hopefully the board is sturdy enough. I guess that I could always use the extension bar on the stand nearer the front to add additional support if needed.

Same stand here as well, supporting a Triton Extreme 88, for 12 years! Purchased
one for my Kronos 88, too!

I have the Z716 and use it with my Kronos X88... works great! Extremely sturdy and rock solid. The only issue, and it's a minor one, is that the horizontal brace that's on the vertical pole - at times - makes it difficult to reach pedals. I have an expression pedal, switch, and damper hooked up to the X88 and my shin sometimes bumps the horizontal bar.
