Hi,

After doing some reading and watching some YouTube demos, I decided to buy a DOD Boneshaker distortion pedal to put some hair on my Volca Bass. This distortion has a 3 band parametric EQ and sounds good on Bass, Baritone, 8, 7 & 6 string guitars, so I thought it might work well for the Volca Bass. I just tested it out for about an hour and this pedal makes the Volca sound like a beast without turning into sonic mud, even with all 3 oscillators active. I got the best sounds and had some of the most fun I've had with the Bass ever. There is a lot of tone sculpting capability in this pedal. I will try to generate an audio sample soon, but I wanted to post this after having so much fun.

that sounds awesome! i've heard several times that the volca bass can greatly benefit from a nice distortion pedal!

I have a boss pedal somewhere that i found a few years ago in an abandoned apartment (long story) and never botherd using it/selling it... maybe when i get a bass i'll put it to good use!

I believe my pedal is the power driver... not currently home to check though
