Hello - I've been really scouring to find feedback on the SampleRobot Volca-X sample management software for the Volca Sample.

I've been using the Caustic editor (with a Mac) and it works great though not being able to save the sample banks I create in there has kept me interested in the SampleRobot version.

It's a hefty $59 but if it supports my beloved Volca well I'd be willing to pay that fee. Anyone have experience / thoughts on this software?

If you're using my app (CEVS) on a computer it's actually not that hard to create sample banks.

Go into the documents folder for CEVS and you should see two things of interest: a "samplelist.txt" and a "Samples" folder. If you copy those two together to another location, you've now made a backup of your setup (aka a bank).

From there you can either delete the list and start fresh or restore a previous bank to that same place and pick up from there. Of course you'll need to force-sync all your samples to the volca each time you change banks (and you'd have to do this regarless of which software you use) but after it's sync'ed up you're good to go.
