hello, i want some new gear , and my eyed catch the new electribe 2. I already have the ESX
I can get the emx for quite a low price. and then there is the new e2, it seems dope. The chords function, scales function, better effects, is something that grabs my attention. Also transporting tracks in ableton seems very fluid.
Though ive heard some people that they still prefer the EMX over the e2
Can anyone post their experiences who have had both the e2 and the emx, and what they actually dislike/prefer about both machines.
Thanks

The emx has a legit arp, the e2 is a gate arp only. The emx can do 8 bars, the e2 only 4. Emx can chain more effects, the e2 has an insert effect per part, and a master fx that you can also apply after the insert fx. The e2 has a free running LFO, at that the LFOs can get realllly slow which is nice. The e2 has grooves that be applied per part. The e2 is tailored more for performance, the emx is more for hardcore sequencing. The e2 synth engine is really nice too.
But above all else, the e2 has rave lights on the bottom so be honest with your self and make sure you get those rave light bumping in your bedroom (lol)
After having both, I feel the emx sequencer is tighter, where the e2 seems to get funny whiles it's fighting for DSP.
The both have pros and cons, it comes down to personal preferences. Hope this helps.
