Electribe 2 more MIDI questions

Hello all, just wanted to apologize in advance if my questions might seem a bit beginner-ish. I currently have the electribe 2 which I want to use as my main sequencer and a microkorg XL+, I'm planning on putting an mpc1000 in the setup for samples which I want the electribe to trigger. First question is do I have to purchase a midi thru box(like one from midi solutions) so I can run both pieces of kit and my second question is about audio outs on my microkorg and mpc1000, do I have to buy a mixer as a central hub, if I do my idea of a small live setup won't be so small,lol. (Im also bringing my Jazz bass into the mix for some songs,ugh, I'll need a small truck and roadies,lol). Anyways thanks for all the great information on this brilliant machine!, the manual is quite sparse on midi information for external hardware.

Use the mpc1000 as your main sequencer!

Won't need a midi hub as you have two midi outs
Can do longer patterns and better resolution on the sequencer plus Mpc swing

You can feed audio into the e2 from the microkorg then out of the e2 into the Mpc then to speakers.. No mixer needed

Also if you really want to use the E2 to seq/trigger:

Midi order:

E2 > Mpc > korgXL
Connect the midi out of e2 to Mpc midi in
Connect midi out of Mpc to midi in of korgXL

Audio order:

KorgXL > E2 > Mpc
Connect audio out of korgXL to audio in on E2 then connect audio out of E2 to Mpc audio in.
