Stephen , you do not have to upgrade firmware or OS for this problem ! this probably won't change the fact that you face hardware issue !
By 90% , Kronos boot SSD sectors are damaged that contain OS ...

Hi Stephen
If the "A problem has been detected ..." message is frequent or permanent then by 80% this is media reading error caused by faulty SSD ,
15% by power supply unit and 5% caused ...

If I want to save a single program as a file it's not possible.
It saves the whole bank in .pcg...
Concerning PCG , you can create a custom Bank with all sounds you like and save them as specific B ...

Your procedure seems correct but try to copy wav file in Kronos SSD and then load it and then create multisample with it.

custom sets over 1GM ???
The reference is strictly for Ram size of custom samples that must be on Pa4X , lower than 1020Mb in order to create a safe BKP file.

Yep , that's correct , there is a firmware issue there and system do not enter in update mode !
This is indeed a motherboard issue and must be addressed by Korg authorized service center !

Just wasn't sure how he actually "deleted" the data.

Only if you delete a file from HD you can recover data disassemb ...
