I do find that difficult to understand. Even the K1 could address 8 gig. More RAM simply means less "cramming" and the RAM actually runs more efficiently.
No Kronos ever had 8 GB of usable ...

About SSDs, you have the choice to add a second one for lots of extra GBs (very easy) and/or install a bigger one to replace the existing one (which is rather small even in the K2). This is a bit more ...

Hi there,

As you found out, the Kronos Editor window can't be maximized. It would certainly be practical but I doubt they will ever update it.

The only thing which is official is that the pandemic is not over nor the shortage of electronic components, supply chain problems, etc. The rest is speculation.

Hello,

Not sure what you mean, but you can for example transpose the pitch of a given track as you wish in the Track Parameter / Pitch tab, etc.

It's not easily possible to save individual programs (IMHO not practical anyway since you then need to juggle with a gazillion files). If you absolutely want to save per program, consult the Kronos SY ...

Indeed the stock PRELOAD doesn't load everything since there would not be enough memory anyway. By cleaning up the things you never use, you can then create different KSC files to load whatever you pr ...

Those additional functions of Split and Layer are very useful - a quite nice upgrade.

The K2 has wooden sides and the TouchView logo is sideways the LCD screen's lower right corner because there is a plastic/ABS rectangle around it which divides the metallic control panel. Earlier mode ...

I don't see videos but I guess you are referring to the Quick Split and Quick Layer buttons. They are indeed rather new functions from a firmware/software update. See on the Korg site to download them ...

Off is not recommended and should be set only in rare cases like if you let your Kronos on idle for hours and for some reason needs a very quiet environment. Temperature inside then needs to reach 80 ...

Indeed you probably have an old version of the firmware and software. When you start your unit, you can see the currently installed version on the screen during bootup. I would recommend to go on the ...
