Try only noise thru the Excitation Filter set to band pass.

Fiddle with the cutoff and high resonance, soft attack.
You should get some sparkly sounds.

If your electric bass is an HD1 program:
Octave and Transpose settings are on the Osc Basic page.

If your bass is an Exi, Transpose is on Program Basic page.
Transpose here goes to +/- 60 semiton ...

Yes, KARMA should be able to do it.
A few years ago I used KARMA to do something similar.

I set them to CC 118 and 119.
It now outputs MIDI, and patches with VJS respond as they should.

My VJS no longer sends out MIDI data.
Is there a setting I overlooked, or is this a hardware issue?

Here you go, I just tested this idea and it worked:

On the Controllers page in Global, assign CC 64 to VJS X.
In program mode, disable Vector Volume control.

The ARP2600 also has an overdriven sound to it.

You don't need to go to Global Mode to assign chords to the virtual pads!

Each Program can have up to 8 chords stored with it.
Same for Combi mode.

The STR-1 engine includes Feedback.
The manual specifically mentions guitar amp feedback.
