Can you elaborate on your MIDI and audio connections? From which connector to which connector?

Can you disconnect the MIDI cable arriving at MIDI IN on the midi interface and see what happen ...

Hi Jeremy,

A site to share banks would be nice. I agree. I can not help you on this.

I go for your other thing: the mellotron flutes.
The XL+ has the factory program A16 TAPE FLT. It is a progr ...

Hi Paul,

I agree with you on the manual...

Concerning the arpeggiating. I think it is logical that it is not working as well as you hope... It depends a bit what you exactly want to achieve with ...

Hi,

Syncing: I would say yes. The webpage talks about the volca, which uses the same sync mechanism as the monologue and so on.

Here is a good tutorial on the PO-35 speak: https://www.youtube.co ...

Hi,

1. Probably you can use Ableton + some plugin as well to download patches (=sounds), I'm not an expert on this.
The Volca FM is designed after the legendary Yamaha DX7. It has almost exactly t ...

Hi Scott and Lidserter,

Thanks for the elaborated explanations.
I think I can conclude for Kross 2: it is possible to extend the soundset but it is still a hassle. For Kross 1, it is a no go.

I ...

Hi lidserter,

Nice Steinway KSC file. It is originally intended for the Kronos. I'm doubting that you can use it on a Kross2, simply because it may be way too large.

Did you actually try it your ...

Hi.

For Kross 1: little chance to get that working. There are some posts where they explain a method to load additional multisamples, but for me it did not work out for some reason with the provide ...

Great!
Glad to hear you enjoy it.

Unfortunately, there will be no updates. Maybe you can program a sound close enough to the mellotron choir? E.g. it is possible to 'record' a vowel in the vocoder ...

Hi,

Too bad you had not such a good experience with Korg before...

Indeed you figured out few problems with the XL. However, you'll encounter that with every device I would say if you search goo ...

Hi,

Not sure you can do something with it:

1. The KAOSSILATOR PRO cannot use SDHC or SDXC cards.
2. Did you try formatting the card using the Kaos?

Mine shows the following behaviour:

Hi,

Nope, that is not possible on a Kross. You can only reconfigure the pitch of the timbre/track as a whole. But that does not update the note events in the track.

Have fun.
