I appreciate the reply, thank you. I tried what you said with EMU, Akia and audio CD's but the M3 states they are an 'invalid format'?

Can anyone recommend a USB CD-ROM that I can use with my M3 and will read Akai/EMU CD's? I've tried my laptop external CD reader but the M3 doesn't recognize any of my sample discs in the aforemention ...
