I don't think you can have a part mute/unmute itself at the end of a pattern. Pattern chaining two different patterns would be the only to do this AFAIK.

Did you set up one of your pads with an audio in oscillator? It's been a while since I done it but I believe you have to assign the audio in to one of your channels on the E2S via the audio in oscilla ...

The midi channels on the E2 cannot be changed but they have been assigned channels 1-16. The first pad is channel 1, second page channel 2, etc.

Pattern chaining was added in the last update but this was a couple of years ago and there has been nothing since. I wouldn't hold your breath, I think Korg has turned its back on the E2.
