Fair enough! I've got a classic piano background, then went into reggae in college. But I mostly write and record guitar/bass/drum pop numbers and have finally been thinking I need to start adding k ...

I'm quite happy with my 2007 first-owner G7, but I'd like better grand pianos and otherwise to step a generation ahead if I can do so at good cost.

I can get a Kronos 2 73 in Korg case, nearly mint ...

OK, here's the conclusion of my research:

M1 has 99 built-in Multisounds in its 2Mword (4MB) sound ROMs. The list is on page 137 of the M1 Owner's Manual, available at https://www.korg.com/us/supp ...

I'm not sure why you think I'm talking patches. I'm only talking samples.

Are you saying that T3's 8MB samples are identical to the M1 EX's 8MB samples? And therefore any patch you make on one ca ...

Thanks T3Owner!

So I'm curious, if the T3 has 4MWord (8MByte) ROM, but is missing things like the M1's famous cutting dance piano...

And the M1 EX has all of the T-Series ROM sounds in its 4MWor ...

> The Multisounds shown are the ones in the T-Series models that are in addition to those found in a base (non-EX) M1.

OK, are they exactly the T1 sounds? Or are they just the same name and sim ...

Thanks crimson thunder, but the link is broken?

And if it's a list of the extra waves in the EX that'd be great to see but do you know how many ARE T1 waves? Or how many are LIKE T1 waves?

Than ...

I've heard things that don't fit together.

1) Korg M1 has 2Mword/4MB of samples

2) Korg T1/2/3 have double the sample memory--4Mword/8MB--but lack some of the old samples such as the famous hard ...

Nice to get a post on a 2-year-old thread.

Sorry I don't have any specific advice, but I would say that if any such company is hiring, they'd look very favorably on any computer/audio-related proje ...

Surely most synths will have some trick like this but the joystick made it especially easy on the 8000 ...

Use the Autobend at max bend (=1 oct) and min speed. With a short-enough note, this simply gets you a 32' (or 2' if you really need it) setting. I don't think the oscillators are really happy with t ...

Lock the Program Bank. Use a foot pedal to advance the patch. That will simply cycle between 8 patches.

You can then do so in a rhythmic matter while playing (eg, tapping your foot in time on the ...

I had the portamento jack of my DW-8000 wired to the noise source.

Without a cable the noise source was connected, but you could plug in a sound input (eg guitar).

At that point, the guitar appe ...
