After reviewing of the manual it becomes obvious after some pages that unfortunately the Pa1000 has some tools missing such as "Autoselect" of the performances (or keyboard sets).

Unfortunately not. Pa900 cannot play and record MP3 at the same time. It should work with midi files, though.
