I used to be a workstation fanatic, but I don't know why anyone would want to be limited by the internal ram of a workstation. Vi's and plugins are definitely the way to go. IMO

Cool. When I get my new computer all set up, I am going to give the sliders a try. Hopefully, my latency won't be an issue with usb on mac. I'm hyper-latency-sensitive! |

If all you want to use is the M3 sequence w/ M3 sounds, you don't need anything like that. You can mix the sequence down to a wav file and transfer it to your PC with a usb flash. |

I don't know what you mean by basic, but I think that the analog string patches in the M3 are very good. This is one of its strengths imo. |

Cool. I'm not sure what the setup program is that your talking about
it should be under Start > Programs > KORG, called 'Install USB MIDI Device' or similar.

create a folder named ***
and in this folder :
- save your song as ***.SNG
- your programs as ***.PCG
- your samples as ***.KSC (use save all sampling data)
and it will work fine next loading
