There are already lots of videos explaining EXACTLY what you're looking for on Youtube by both myself (Audora Audio), NarfSounds, Qui Robinez, and others. Perhaps your question is already answered?

If you're only interested in recording the Kronos into a DAW or in your PC, then no. An audio interface is only going to add another point in the mix.
