I had a similar problem with mine. Recently recorded an album of solo piano music with the SV and when listening back to tracks heard an odd distortion / hiss that would echo each note I played. Its s ... |

The lights on the SV don't actually flash. This is a common occurrence that happens when shooting video. Has something to do with the frame rate. It gives the illusion of the flickering lights. You ma ... |

That's a disappointment, regarding the SP280 keybed. I've not tried it yet.
I too had numerous problems with the RH3 and after 3 SV1's finally gave up. Gotta admit though, I still got the SV fever! ... |

I can relate to your MIDI woes! I had similar issues with MIDI when I struggled with owning THREE SV-1s!!! Thought switching them out would solve the problem, but it didn't. Notes would freak out rand ... |

You need an external speaker source of some kind for the SV-1. There are none built in. Have you considered the new SP-280? It has many similarities to the SV-1 sound wise, and has built in speakers. ... |

You just tap it 4 times at the tempo you want the delay to be heard. The light should then blink the tempo you tapped (approximately). |

Thanks for the reply. I'm not much of a gigging musician anymore (maybe 20 years ago!). Nowadays the SV does'nt really leave my home studio. It's mainly used for composing/recording. I'm moving in a f ... |

This has probably been discussed before. If so I apologize. Anyone know of a cheap ($50 range) padded bag that works well with the 73 key SV-1? I've read that the "official" bag is'nt really ... |
