They both have the digital oscillator, but I think only the XD allows you to use all 3 FX slots (Mod, Reverb and Delay) simultaneously. I'm honestly shocked they decided to strip the sequencing functi ...

Personally I'd never exchange my MiniXD for a Prologue because the sequencing/motion sequencing is too killer on the XD to lose entirely with the Prologue. Prologue is like a Juno with its scaled-back ...

Each factory patch is stored on some internal ROM so you can restore one if you overwrite it. Global page 19 should do it!

Don't forget: the XD has a really scaled-down non-amp envelope, and the entire digital oscillator + expandable digital FX. I also don't know if the DeepMind has parameter automation like the XD's moti ...

Welcome to the boards! I've always used a SmartMedia card to import/export .esx files, so I may have to look into this when I'm back home. My understanding was that you needed a card for these types o ...

We'll never see an update, aside from a possible librarian as you've mentioned. Korg just isn't great for long-term support.

The ESX had a great 3rd-party management system, but I only have the blu ...

Yeah, Shift+EG Int will let you go into negative values, very useful!

The monologue's sequencing will allow simple drumlines too! I might post more on this later, but basically:

You need to use ...

You have to remember that these 16 steps can represent up to 16 bars of poly sequencing if you're looking for something like an epic pad with more duration. When you consider that live-recorded motion ...

There's tons of great archived information here! People who've been stopping by for years will make occasional visits but it's gotten pretty quiet.

The lack of a piano waveform is kind of a bummer, but I'm more annoyed by the fact that the XL got more virtual patch points than the R3. That's not how you position a more expensive product, Korg!

Either take it back under warranty, or get a soldering iron: it sounds like something's come loose inside.

The way you've described is how I use it as well, Burton. Having access to the multi-FX means it makes sense to run the monlogue through the E2. I've started making all my patterns use the top-right p ...
