|
|
Hi Folks
I have a question...
I have 3 broken keys on my triton - and the others are quite worn as they don't play very evenly... as buying a single key is quite expensive i was thinking of maybe replacing the whole set of keys.
I have been told that the keys are made by yamaha??
can anyone confirm this and give me a model/part number for the item |

I think old Yamaha DX series keyboards match the Triton keys.
Had the similar thing with Korg T3, took down keys from Yamaha and put them on T3, worked fine.
New ones are definitely too expensive to buy.
Try with some lokal service, they should have some old boards that they can use keys from to install them on your board. |

They got broken while being transported to a gig, i had it in a flight case that was too big and it must have taken a hit because when i took it out the case there were 3 broken keys and the cover to the valve amp had come off too needless to say i shall be buying a proper sized flight case or padded case before it goes anywhere again |
