Daz and Sharp

Is there a case for a tutorials forum specifically for Oasys, akin to Stephen Kay's over at Karma-Lab where users can post valuable pointers, suggestions and tutorials? It would be extra work I know, but OASYS is so extensive at this stage, and there are so many nuggets already buried in this forum and perhaps slipping into obscurity.

cheers,
Kevin.

I'm wondering if that's what some of the stickies on the top of these forums are meant to be. There is so much to the Oasys though. I do understand where your going with this and do see the value. Personally at this point, I'm happy that we're getting a DVD tutorial.

You're absolutely right we really do need a way of collating some of the more informative threads and posts into a form that people can easily refer back to, as you say posts just disappear into the mists of time and unless you read at the time they are gone. I am pondering that ...

The recent post regarding sound design and the theory of operation FM/MOD-7 seemed to grab peoples interest. Maybe we need some more formal (yet not too formal) tutorial material about the subject. As you can imagine it's a lot of work just typing even the most basic introductory post on the subject, so something more "in-depth" would be quite a bit of effort. Your thoughts ?

Daz.

Hi,
I've been collecting all the tutorials and interesting bits of information and have put it as a download pack over at the Karma Lab forum.
