Hi all,
i've just recieved my Korg Triton Le76 and i'm very happy with it Smile

But I have a question:
Can I use this... hmhm... thing to turn the SM slot into a xD (or SD, depends on the device) one?

Here (i'm from Bulgaria) SM cars are very, very, very hard to find and expensive Confused

I think the answer would depend on whether that device can work "as is" without any special software drivers having to be installed (which of course you could not install on the Triton).

I've got one of those Smile I use with my Electribe MX which also has a SmartMedia slot, as long as I plug in an xD card that is a size that the Electribe can handle it works fine.

Hi All! I use the XD-Smartmedia Adapter with my Le.

It works with xD chips up to 128 meg in size (I use 16, 32, 64 and 128). It blows up with chips larger than that.

You have to remove the entire adapter when you change xD chips. That is the only way to reset the file directory on the Le.

I don't know about compatibility between SD and xD.

Good Luck, Sam in NJ
