Now that I'm back running 123, can someone confirm my startup screen info.

I'm seeing the EXs1 and 2 and the LAC-1, but I'm not seeing my STR-1 on the loading screen. (Which also is authorized)
I believe it was there before?

In Global/Plugins it shows authorized.

Authorized EXs1 Rom Expansion
Authorized Exs2 Concert Grand
Authorized STR-1 Plucked String
Authorized LAC-1 Legacy Analog Collection

The STR-1 patches are there and play but I don't see them on the loading screen?

I don't remember it showing a message for STR-1 before. Which makes sense 'cos it really isn't an optional load, it's built-in like the AL-1 and CX-3 EXi at this point.

I am guessing you're having the beautiful weather down there that we're having here, lovely isn't it Smile

Hi Daz,
This is what I'm trying to confirm. When you boot up, do you see STR-1 listed
while the red scrolling line is loading the Oasys? I could swear it was always there... ?

Yes the weather is peachy. Laughing

This has been posted. My splash screen does not show the STR-1...

Hi Lou,

The startup screen has been revised for 1.3. It probably just doesn't show this in 1.2.3 (I don't have an older system around to check). I wouldn't be concerned.

Hi Lou...long time, no chat! Moved North, I see. DE can have some very fine weather and pizza, too. There used to be a superb pizza place over in Hartley. (As good as NJ Razz )

Sorry you're having those gremlis with your OS!

FWIW, STR does show in my 1.3 screen, too, like that image of Binale's over at that KLF link. Don't know about the 1.2.3 question, though, as I moved up.

Thanks Dan, Prior my 1.3 episode, I do believe STR-1 did show up in 123.
Also, the first time I loaded 1.3, it was there along with MOD-7 and Legacy,
that's why I was asking because it's not there now in 123? Seems odd.

Hi BC,
Yes I did have some difficulty with 1.3. The install went well from the boot up.
All was good, the MOD-7 was killer and Stephen's upgrade with Karma is great.
All my problems were in sequencer mode.

At the moment, I don't have the balls to reload 1.3, but hell I want it. All feedback here
is appreciated...

Yea, DE is small, but cool. Growing by the day and yes, the pizza is good!.... Laughing

Ditto Mod-7, although the Korguser site won't accept my public ID for some reason so haven't been able to authorize it yet. That'll probably be a simple cure when I can get on the phone to them next week.

Yep, KARMA's an even bigger hoot now Very Happy

Best wishes for resolving the OS stuff!

Sorry to hear that. I just hope for your sake they don't have to go through Japan for that!

Thanks BC. I want to jump back up to 1.3 but really feel I should wait a liitle while. Just want to see what more users are experiencing...

Hope not, too! But doubt it since they have me on record in the registration and must have workarounds for why my ID isn't acceptable.

(Hmmm...sounds like something my father used to say!)

I'm quite sure that the startup display in 1.23 could not have been changed by your upgrade/downgrade. As I wrote, we have changed the way this works in 1.3. Please don't worry about it!

Korg distributors should be able to handle these cases directly.

Note that Monday is a holiday for Korg USA, but they'll be back and in full swing on Tuesday.

Thanks, Dan. That'd escaped me.
