Hi all,
Well the question I was going to ask is this....."If a German Company
can produce great sounding EXB Boards for the Korg Pa1x(pro) then why cant Korg?"
The answer came to me as I was starting this thread......(of course)
If Korg produced some great sounding EXB boards for the Pa1x(pro)
that would breathe new life into 4 yr old instrument then not very many would
want to buy a Pa800 or a Pax2.......right? if their (old) Pa1x
could sound better....lol......too funny but very true!
So thats why you will have to "buy out of the box" so to speak to upgrade
you Pa1x.It dosent matter what country manufactures the board as long as
it works well and sounds great
It's sort of like the new car theory....if you could take your 2006 bmw
back to the dealer to get all the bells and whistles installed in it that the new 2007 has for a fraction of the cost....then why would you buy a new 2007 bmw??????
Hense Im sure that Korg will not manufacture any upgrade boards for the Pa1x beacuse then not many would buy Pa800's and Pa2x's
Thats just my opinion...whats yours?

I have EXB Latin-dance card from korg, and it's very good
I have EXB Golden enterinh. and it's very good too
I'm not sure but latin is only 16mb, and Golden is 32 mb
but you have many new styles, sounds drum kit
Ok, the new pa2xpro can have 256 mb. but if in future we have
the exb in usb version for load all data into ram, where put the data ?
in the EXB golden I have 64 new drum kit, and then my 64 user drum
kit are free, then 256 mb are good for big samples, but not for many sounds, then for me pa2x is not good, never found the space to put the exb sounds convertet. |
