|
|
Is there any way to tempo sync with another device such as the Electribe and use it with the Oasys? For example could I use a MIDI hookup or perhaps use the optional EXB-DI to make sure my beats always line up?
Thanks,
Derek |

Yes , of course…
You can can read all about how to connect your devices and have their tempo(s) in sync beginning on p. 554 of the Parameter Guide.
Specifically, on the lower right side of p. 555 under the title ' Midi clock'
I'm not familiar with the Electribe but I'll assume that there are midi
jacks on this device. The EXB-DI is a digital audio interface and I'm not sure
why you believe that is needed … it is not, if you are using midi

Simply Set whatever device you have hooked up to the O to Receive Midi clock or in your case Slave mode! Hit Global, scroll down to clock and set that to Ext. The O is always by default transmitting that info unless changed by the user! _________________ MY Weapons of choice: K2600X, Oasys88, PC3X, K2661, V-Synth, MotifESR, ZR-76, TS-12, VFX, EPS16+,ESQ-1, ESQ-1R, Emu Xtreme Lead, SCI Six Trak, HR-16, Kurzweil Mark 150 Baby Grand and 2 D1600's synced!!!
