Shrike.
I'm sure Korg will try to implement something like that or a variation, if possible.
They seem to have their hand full, with ideas. |

I was hopping back then since T3 they would at least make some midi controled key pad that could do things I wrote above. Nothing yet, though. |

Just a couple of observations here and one correction - you can assign 8ve up or down to SW1 or SW2. In addition, if you plan your programming carefully using the "pitch" parameters you can set it to more that 12 semitones from where the default sound is.
Next, I support those comments about filling up the USER banks with your own tweaked version, your "from scratch" designs, and with 3rd party sounds that are beginning to trickle in.
To be sure, once things get rolling again for the M3, you'll be crying you want more banks. That's the story with the OASYS right now and it has the same bank structure as the M3.
Cheers,

For Christ's sake, don't touch the bank buttons!!!!!!
Korg has the most perfect way of choosing sounds: it is right there...press bank and the number. It doesn't get easier, it doesn't get faster.
Not that I take it to serious, but why do some some people take the right to decide for others what is necessary and what is not on the keyboard.
I use the M3 in the studio and live. For live, there is no substitute for having dedicated buttons to go fast to a sound and to a specific button. If you want to be punished by using wildly the dial to come to a specific sound, choose Roland.
I respect that some people need/want dedicated octave buttons. You have my support.
But don't start discussing about the need of dedicated bank buttons. Holly Christ, the m3 has 14 banks. Are you seriously considering to choose banks by pressing bank +/- buttons?????? |

The Motif series also have bank buttons, but of course they are used for other purposes too... that's what I'm personally requesting. |
