Hi IronSynth,
I would suggest that you edit your title to say, 3rd party M3 files available for uploading/download over at Karma-Lab Forums. It's not strictly to/from Karma-Lab famous for it's high powered combi collections. Currently, there aren't any M3 collections from Karma-Lab - not yet at least. However, that's going to change.
Here's the link to KLF's files section for the M3

It would be nice to see a whole new bank of combis for the M3.

Hi Guys,
Yes, there will be new combis for the M3. However, we are still working on putting the finishing touches on my combis for the OASYS. We do plan to "translate/revoice" these for the M3. As of yet, however, we don't have a utility to do this. That means, the OASYS parameters, programs, IFX etc. that can find direct duplication in the M3 can be logged in manually without a great deal of difficulty. Although some programs and GEs have shifted somewhat and others including IFX just aren't there. In this case the chore is a little more taxing and time consuming to come up with an alternative strategy.
It's not a bad as it sounds. In fact, for curiousity's sake, a little while back, I translated one of my OASYS combis - 000 Analogous using a scheme similar to the one I described above. Working from the OASYS display and having the M3 ready to log in the parameters, I was able to find most of what was needed. Where there wasn't a direct copy of what I needed, as in fewer IFX on the M3 or identical programs, I had to audition alternatives based on the categories. It took a bit of tweaking to adjust for these latter shortcomings, but 000 Analogous for M3 sounds great.
Sorry to say, it's just going to be a matter of time until we get the OASYS material out of the way. Stay tuned, but don't hold your breath.
Cheers,

Hi , Eric , What do you know about the new USB-PCM series of expansions of korg , are them will be like dance , trance , orquestral , pianos .etc... like in Tritons and karma.?
Are we going to install new ROM Samples for these expansions? Where ? Only we can in RAM memory and korg only have an expansion RAM for 256MB , and only one slot for that , I think itīs memory enough for new expansion samples and for load samples to use in the sampler .
What do you think about this? Is Korg making new expansions that we canīt imaginate?
Thanks , I wait for your answer.

Hi IS,
I have no information at all about Korg's plans for the USB-PCM series. And, yes, I'm very curious to know. But, with all things Korg (and I agree) their reluctance to spell out everything is something all Korg users need to get accustomed to. I have - sort of... Maybe, it's because I'm so damn busy with my own projects to get all tied up in knots about what's coming. Sorry I can't help you on this one and, to be honest I don't think anyone else other than Korg will be able to make any revelations about their developments for M3. They'll tell us when they're ready. We just have to sit tight.
Cheers,
