Guys - as you know I'm (still) a PA1-X Pro (Elite) newbie - so here's my Question:

Is there a "FIND" function in the PA1x?

As in, finding a song on the HD or a Songbook Entry.

At the moment I have to scroll through the whole list (I mainly scroll the HD list for my midi files and load up from there - it's "easiest" for me believe it or not...)

My VA-7 had a "FIND" function (select the letter of the alphabet kind of dealie) and I could go straight to my fie without having to scroll (too much) live.

Please be kind if I have missed something INCREDIBLY obvious.

When you make a new entry in the songbook you can give it a number.
When it's done, just hit two time the songbook switch, enter the number, and the style/midifile is recalled instantly.

Ok guys thanks - one more question though:

I mainly (at the moment) load Songs straight from the Hard Drive list -not the Songbook.

Is there a "FIND" Function for the Hard Drive???????

No/yes
You can't find a song typing a few letters.
You can find a song typing his number. In the HD.

If you hold down shift and use Up/Down key you can scroll thru your list quickly (page at a time - quicker than the tempo/value dial).
Regards,
John
