Here, today I played this piece on Extreme single preset program:

D054: SFZ String Trem

and here is the result:

http://www.speedyshare.com/783341843.html

Spent few hours talking with fellow musician and when we came to subject of chromatic scales, I recorded this for an example.

It surprised me how deep Extreme is with one single sound, I thought I know every square of the board, but now...

So I wanted to share with you, fellow extremeians, hope you'll enjoy.

There are some minor errors, don't hold it against me, I could have edit it, but didn't want to - to me, in such peaces playing is the only important thing, so didn't want to ruin it.

I'd bet it's played on the Extreme!
Shocked

Nice performance, I, also, wish I could play like that!

I played it on Extreme, with preset sound D054: SFZ String Trem.

Just because it surprised me how powerful can only one sound be, I decided to share this with you.

I didn't even change anything in that sound's parameters, didn't edit it on computer (you can hear I didn't, because I made some mistakes in performance), but editing would ruin it, IMO.

I'm glad you like it and really this one isn't so hard to play, this Extreme's program make it sound so nice because of the tremolo.

Thanks for replies, means a lot to me.

Enjoy this great piece guys. I talked to shrike for a while, about music theory. In fact it was more so, him teaching me. And this dude knows his stuff i tell ya. But when he sent me this example, i nearly fell off my chair. I was just about ready to pack up my Korgs and give up playing all together, when i heard that. I spose i am a begginer after all, and that ability to play like Shrike is a while off for me still. Practice, practice and more practice i say...

Cheers

Nice piece,

Mistakes are the soul of music and with todays polish, you don't hear the real musician - good job - I think you need more tube though 'Laughing'

Years ago I recorded my rendition of "flight" on bass, I'll see if I can dig it up

hahahahahahaha....

Thank you cmrr, and thanks emir82, for your kind words.

Will rerecord the piece with the tube on.

Very Happy

I was hoping this thread would result in more posts with similarly played things in real time, I like that, not PC arranged music, so sure would like to hear your version, cmrr.

Best regards,

shrike
