Hi,

I'm in the mood for long sequences this evening so I went through couple of your tunes. "ckeghwll" particularly drew my attention. Could you please elaborate a little on how you made it? There is also a nice transition at approx. 7:11. It seems to be a real time pattern change to me. How do you make those?

sewa

P.S. You look cool on that youtube video!

Öckeghwühll is a tricky sequencer part.
it is an ensamble play from the an1x - creamware minimax the novation ks-rack and the nord rack 3.

I made a lot of small patterns in the sequentix P3 and recorded those midi data in cubase, in cubase I glue and edited the whole thing togehter.

at about 7.11 I let the whole sequence walk up in the scale a few notes
(must take a look I have the midi data)

the whole piece took 6 a 7 weeks to realize,

another thing I want to say is that I never use modules or synths multitimbrale, i.e. I use only 1 part in the radias.

I see your point. I tend to do the same in order to have all the pieces of the puzzle at my fingertips. I only use the Virus in multitimbrial mode as its too good to spare. The thing is though, I use the Motif ES as my sequencer and have all the tracks /mutes are available directly via 16 buttons. Its dead easy to toggle between midi channels that way.

Its interesting what you said about that sequence and it shows that there's much more to this type of stuff as might seem at first. I'm just making my first "steps" with the Radias step sequencer and I haven't got partculairly complex results so far.

a few very old tracks from old cassette tapes, 20 / 25 years old

title;
ochtendnevel and herfst (autumn)

I can`t even remember which synthys I used. I think I had the first roland sound canvas on the herfst.
