Hi all.
Though you might find this an interesting read.

Triton Sequencer Cuelist:

The following is an example of how to effectively use the Triton's powerful Cue List.  Here at product support we are frequently asked how to "cut" and "paste" or, generally move material around in order to quickly get an arrangement of a song together.  Follow this text and you may find that the Cue list is certainly the easiest way to effectively keep your creative juices flowing and generally avoid getting bogged down with the technical side of sequencers.

For this example let's say you have started with song 000 as an intro of some sorts.  You get inspired to write a verse.  Instead of appending your material to the same song choose song 001 as your verse. Don't worry about the song length for now since this can easily be changed.  Now you are inspired to write a chorus, choose song 002 to start composing your chorus.  Finally let's say you write a bridge and you have selected song 003 for this.

Now you have the material all laid out and you want to put them together in some sort of arrangement.  Here's how:

1) go to "menu" cue list
2) you will note that song 000 (intro) is already select here
3) go to step 2 (end) and push insert, then select song 001 (verse) from the arrow on the touch screen >, notice you can specify how many repeats you may wish to the right.
4) go to step 3 and push insert then select song 002 (chorus)
5) repeat above until you have your arrangement set up the way you want it.
For this example I have in order of steps:
step1 song000/step 2 song001/step 3 song002/step 4 song001/step 5 song002 repeatedx2(double chorus)/step 6 song003/step 7 song002 x4 and fade.

Now let's take a look at a very important window on the cue list screen, this is the "MEASURE" column.  Since you may have created a bunch of songs that have a default of 64 measure, you will notice that the first step begins at measure 0001 but step 2 does not begin until measure 0065.  To change the song lengths simply select the song that you wish to edit and go to "menu" P5 Track edit.  Top right corner pull down menu you will see the option set song length.  Select it and choose the appropriate song length.  Repeat for all other songs.

Note:  to avoid this, if when you are inspired you typically write eight bars phrases, then when selecting a new song simply choose the appropriate song length.

Now you may go to menu "Cue List" and play your arrangement.  If you want to double a chorus or insert the intro somewhere else you can with ease.  Moving things around has never been easier.
Note: you can have more than one cue list so you may audition several arrangements.

You can at any time turn your cue list into one single song.  To do this go to "menu" Cue list, top right corner pull down menu and choose "convert to song".  Make sure you choose an empty song slot just in case!

To save your cue list, songs or converted cue list song simply go to disk mode, push the save tab on the screen and use save SEQ.  The cue list is automatically saved along with your songs.  To load the song back in and pick up where you left off, simply go to disk mode and use "load selected".

I hope this makes arranging your songs easier.

Really useful feature except for Effects. There is a slight delay if a section of the song needs a different Effects. I guess it is a limitation imposed by proccesor being not fast enough.
